We are proud to present the 6th edition of the Affect, Personality and the EmbodiedBrain “APE2025” hybrid conference that occurred from 4th to 5th December jointly hosted through the APE Research Group at Nottingham Trent University (United Kingdom) and HNL group from Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal), around our understanding of the interaction between the mind and body. This join effort emerged through our ongoing collaborations and representation at the international APE network. It showcases our strong partnership and commitment and acts as ‘a consolidating agent’ for our joint ventures in the future. The APE Network is a hybrid meeting ground that brings together scientific collaborators in the field, both online and in person. If you’d like to join us, please get in touch through our website.
Since 2020, the APE event has welcomed both emerging and well-established researchers, as well as professionals working in personality and affective neuroscience and related fields. Initially held in a virtual format, it was conceived as an initiative to bring together brilliant minds from across the globe. We are deeply committed to fostering a supportive environment for early-career and emerging researchers, encouraging postgraduate and Ph.D. students, as well as postdoctoral fellows, to share their ideas, present their work, and benefit from the network’s collaborative opportunities.
We are excited that our attendees will have a rewarding and stimulating experience through this virtual interactive environment.
On behalf of the APE & HNL teams, we very much hope you enjoyed our annual meeting, and we are looking forward for meeting you again this year for the APE2025 6th Edition!
With warm wishes across the globe,
The APE2025 Committee
