Support from the University: For those who need the assurance of social support, in the event that the DGES' aid is not sufficient, the university will provide aid as well (non-refundable or to be returned by the end of the term).

Merit Scholarships from the Department of Education and Psychology
UCP's Department of Education and Psychology offers annual merit scholarships to the best candidates (based on their grades at the time of application) and to the best students (based on their academic performance from the year prior). These scholarships are automatically receieved by the student; it is not necessary to apply or provide household income.
In each course, the scholarships are determined by the rules, updated annually, within each course.
What are the conditions to receive a Merit Scholarship?
During the 2021-2022 academic year, four merit scholarships were given to first-year students pursuing a Psychology Degree. Two scholarships covered 100% of the fees and the remaining two covered 50% of the fees.
For the first year merit scholarship in Psychology, admitted students must have an average application value of 16 or higher. The values are then placed in descending order, rounded to the nearest hundredth.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, three merit scholarships were given to second-year students pursuing a degree in Psychology. One scholarship covered 100% of tuition fees and the remaining two covered 50%.

Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize
University Merit Award granted annually to the graduating student with the highest average grade at time of completion in the Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Psychology based on the previous academic year. The only eligible graduates are those who have attended both Study Cycles in the Department of Education and Psychology.
The Amélia de Mello Foundation Prize
University Merit Award granted annually to graduates of the Psychology program in recognition of their contributions to the university (both academically and in extracurricular activities).
