Applications are now open for merit-based scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year for students enrolled in their first year for the first time, as part of the UCP4SUCCESS project.
This initiative aims to recognise and reward the effort and academic progress of students enrolled in their first year for the first time, through the general admission scheme, on Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s degree programmes at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, who have passed at least 30 ECTS credits in the modules of the first semester and who have not taken resit or improvement exams.
Scholarships will be awarded based on two criteria: academic merit, assessed by the difference between the entry mark at Católica and the final average for the first semester (70%), and the student’s socio-economic status (30%).
Applications for the UCP4SUCCESS Scholarships are open until 27 April 2026.
Participation in this scheme requires an application to be submitted by completing an online form, and the regulations contain all eligibility criteria and documents to be submitted. You can find this information here.
The UCP4SUCCESS project encourages all eligible students to apply for this scheme, which aims to promote equity, reward merit and contribute to academic success in higher education.
This project is supported by the Direção-Geral do Ensino Superior (DGES) and the Plano de Recuperação e Resiliência (PRR).
