Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto has inaugurated the INOV-NORTE Future Classrooms, an initiative that strengthens its commitment to pedagogical innovation and the modernisation of teaching and learning environments in higher education.
The inauguration took place within the scope of the 8th plenary meeting of the INOV-NORTE consortium – Centre of Excellence for Pedagogical Innovation in the Northern Region, a project funded by the NextGenerationEU programme under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).
The event, held on 24 April 2026, brought together members of the consortium’s governance bodies, activity coordinators and project ambassadors, in a moment dedicated to monitoring and coordinating the work developed by partner institutions across the various areas of intervention of INOV-NORTE.
Points related to the scheduling of ongoing activities and the preparation of the project’s final report were also addressed, in a context of consolidating the results achieved and planning the closure phase.
The meeting reinforced cooperation between partner institutions and the strategic alignment of the consortium, highlighting the shared commitment to pedagogical innovation and the transformation of higher education in the Northern region, in an initiative approaching its conclusion, scheduled for June 2026.
