Carlos Peixoto has a doctorate in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto in the area of Forensic Psychology. He is a Clinical Psychologist with a certified advanced competence in Justice Psychology and Neuropsychology by the Portuguese Psychologists Association (OPP). He is a researcher at the Centre for Human Development Studies - Catholic University of Portugal. An expert Psychologist in Forensic Psychology at the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, I.P. - Portugal. Author and co-author of several scientific publications (books, book chapters, articles in scientific journals) related to themes within the scope of Forensic Psychology, namely, forensic psychological evaluation, credibility evaluation, forensic interviewing of children and adults.
