Students who hold a Bachelor's of Psychology (First Cycle 180 ECTS) may apply for this master's program.
FEP-UCP offers merit scholarships annualy to the best candidates (based on their grades when applying) and the best students (based on their academic performance in the year prior). These scholarships are granted automatically with no need to complete other requirements or to provide financial standing.
First Year Master's Program
For the first year merit scholarship in Psychology, all first year Master's students (in all areas of specialization) must have a Bachelor's degree final value of 16 or higher to be elligble. The values are then placed in descending order, rounded to the nearest hundredth.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, two merit scholarships were given to first-year Master's students pursuing a Psychology Degree. One scholarship covered 100% of the fees and the remaining one covered 50% of the fees.
Second Year Master's Program
To be eligible, all students enrolled in the 2nd year of the Master's degree in Psychology (all areas of specialization) must have an average score of 16.00 or more from the year prior and, cumulatively, have fulfilled all requirements for the curricular plan in which they have enrolled.
During the 2021-2022 academic year, two merit scholarships were given to second-year Master's students pursuing a Psychology Degree. One scholarship covered 100% of the fees and the other one covered 50% of the fees.
Merit grants are automatically awarded, so no formal application is required.

These scholarships are awarded by the Government and granted to students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in both public and private universities; qualification is determined based on family income.
Católica also offers various other options adapted to and available for each student and their situation.
Caixa Geral de Depósitos Prize
University Merit Award granted annually to the graduating student with the highest average grade at time of completion in the Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Psychology based on the previous academic year. The only eligible graduates are those who have attended both Study Cycles in the Department of Education and Psychology.
The Amélia de Mello Foundation Prize
University Merit Award granted annually to graduates of the Psychology program in recognition of their contributions to the university (both academically and in extracurricular activities).
