Description
Engagement plays a crucial role in mitigating the effects of emotional exhaustion and is therefore a key factor in safeguarding well-being in the workplace. The presence of natural elements in work environments has been associated with improved recovery from symptoms related to mental health issues. Moreover, it has been observed to enhance creativity, sociability, commitment, and job satisfaction.
In a global context where emotional exhaustion increasingly affects workers, this study offers empirical evidence on the restorative role of nature connection and work engagement in preventing burnout and, in turn, improving life satisfaction. The findings may contribute to reshaping how we design workspaces and promote organisational well-being.
