Diana Mesquita is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Director of the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) at the same university. She currently also coordinates the Masters in Science of Education and the Post-Graduate Program in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change.
She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences, specializing in Curriculum Development, from the University of Minho and, in 2023, she was a Visiting Professor at the University of Brasília.
Her research interests include: Professional and Organisational Development, Collaborative Teacher Learning, Professional Learning Communities, Teacher Education, Pedagogical and Curricular Innovation, Active Learning, Higher Education, and Engineering Education.
She is a member of the Portuguese Society of Educational Sciences (SPCE) and the Portuguese Society for Engineering Education (SPEE).
