Diana Soares is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FEP-UCP) and vice-dean for Quality and Pedagogical Innovation.
She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences, with a specialisation in Educational Psychology, from the University of Minho, awarded in 2015. She is a researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH-UCP) and a collaborating researcher at the Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (CIPES).
She coordinates the Católica Learning Innovation Lab (CLIL), UCP’s Pedagogical Innovation Lab, and is Programme Director of the Doctoral Programme in Education Science at the Faculty of Education and Psychology. She is also a member of the Board of INOV-NORTE – Centre of Excellence for Pedagogical Innovation in the Northern Region.
Her work focuses on pedagogical innovation in higher education, with particular emphasis on curriculum development, academic professional development and the quality of teaching and learning experiences.
She is the author and co-author of scientific publications and regularly participates in research, training and consultancy activities in the field of Education.
