Rosário Serrão holds a Ph.D. in Applied Psychology (2024) from the International PhD Programme in Applied Psychology—a joint PhD programme between Universitat Ramon Llull, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Nottingham Trent University.
Her doctoral research focused on the process of universal psychological health screening in schools. She also holds a Master’s degree in Psychology (2015), with a specialization in Educational and Human Developmental Psychology, from the Portuguese Catholic University (Porto).
She was a researcher on the EDUgest Project – School Management and School Improvement, funded by the Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation, and an intern at the Centre for Resilience and Social & Emotional Health at the University of Malta.
She is a researcher at the Research Center for Human Development (CEDH) and an Applied Research Assistant on the Let’s Care Project – Building safe and caring schools to foster educational inclusion and school achievement, funded by Horizon 2020.
