Maria Luísa da Mota Teixeira Ribeiro is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Catholic University of Portugal (FEP-UCP). She has a Degree and a Master's Degree in Psychology from the University of Porto and a PhD in Educational Sciences - Educational Psychology from the University of Minho.

She is responsible for the Community Service programme of the Psychology degree, which was recognised in 2010 by the OECD - Institutional Management in Higher Education as a teaching quality and pedagogical innovation initiative.

She is currently coordinator on Service Learning, underway at the Catholic University of Portugal.
