António Manuel Godinho da Fonseca is a Psychologist and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto. At this institution, he is also a member of CEDH – the Research Centre for Human Development.
He obtained his Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Porto in 1989. He received his doctorate from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar of the University of Porto in 2004.
He is a specialist in Developmental Psychology, with a special focus on the Aging process.
He is currently also a Invited Associate Professor at the University of Lisbon/ISCSP and serves as a scientific consultant for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
