Assistant Professor at the School of Biotechnology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP), where she teaches in the areas of Nutrition, Epidemiology and Public Health.
She maintains intense research in the areas of nutritional epidemiology, with special focus on pregnant women and children, community nutrition and food sustainability, being a researcher at the Center of Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry, ESB-UCP and at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto.
She is the author of more than 100 communications in national and international scientific congresses, in the form of oral or poster communication. She is also the author of 85 scientific articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, as well as 5 book chapters.
She has been supervising students of all cycles of higher education, having already concluded the supervision of 39 undergraduate students, 37 master's students and 4 PhD students.
