This course globally intends to promote intervention skills in the field of Psychology, Justice and Deviance, accompanied by a critical, flexible and adjusted view concerning the needs of such individuals and groups. Specifically, students are expected to learn and implement psychological intervention skills in classic problems in this field such as addictions that involve the use of psychoactive substances (PAS) and other addictions. The teaching process emphasizes evidence-based intervention models and programs applied to the several stages of the involvement with substance use throughout the life cycle and across several life contexts.
