Research Seminar

The course Research Seminar appears in the last half of the 1st cycle of studies in psychology, establishing itself as an opportunity to systematize and implement the prior knowledge of research methodologies in psychology. Student’s access to research projects of the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH; FEP-UCP) allows contact with the multiplicity of themes and research methods in Psychology.

Specific objectives of the course:

  • To develop skills of planning and implementation of research in Psychology.
  • To develop skills for the dissemination of research in Psychology, including scientific writing.
  • To develop critical thinking and reflection about research in Psychology.
  • Being able to reflect on ethical issues about research in Psychology.
  • To adopt an ethical attitude as researcher.
