The Labour Law course focuses on the legal regime of the employment contract. Based on the analysis of this type of contract, several aspects are addressed, namely: the trial period, the object of the contract and the duties, rights and guarantees of the parties, and the various forms of terminating an employment contract. Issues related with the powers and duties of the employer are also part of the competencies to be developed.
The aim of this CU is to provide participants the basic concepts in labour law, as well as to alert them to some of the key issues raised by the legal literature and jurisprudence, presenting possible solutions.
It seeks to provide the knowledge considered essential for a proper understanding of the key issues that may arise to those who are active in the area of human resources as well as the legal instruments that they can use in their daily professional activity.
