On 4th September 2025, the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP-UCP) at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa will extend a warm welcome to new students enrolling in the Psychology undergraduate programme for the 2025/2026 academic year.

The event will take place in Room EC 018 at the Universidade Católica in Porto and will be an opportunity for students to make initial contact with their lecturers, Student Union colleagues, and get to know the Faculty. The welcome activities will continue between 8 and 11 September, with various integration activities.

"Ser+ Ambiente: Católica Students in Action" Volunteer Initiative

This initiative offers you the chance to participate in a special conservation mission, with the future in mind, in an area of significant natural and cultural value near the River Sousa (Gondomar).

The area faces two critical challenges: the September 2024 fires, which left native vegetation more vulnerable, and the spread of invasive species (such as Acacia, pokeweed, and Japanese knotweed). With your help, and that of other students from various courses, this work will complement the efforts of the Municipality of Gondomar and the FUTURO/CRE.Porto project in controlling these invasive species and restoring the region's native biodiversity.

Students from different courses at Católica in Porto will be taking part in this volunteer action.
