The CU Psychopathology and Mental Health II continues the work started in UC Psychopathology and Mental Health I, helping students to become familiar with signs and symptoms that best characterize the mental disorders occurring in adults and elderly people. It also aims to highlight basic principles of interventions to promote mental health in this age period.
Learning outcomes:
A. To identify the main aspects of mental state assessment;
B. To introduce basic concepts regarding the course of a mental health problem;
C. To identify and characterize the main signs of different adult mental health problems;
D. To identify the major guidelines for promoting mental health in adulthood and older age.
