Work and Organizational Psychology

6 ECTS / Semester

In the training process of psychologists, this CU familiarizes the students with the conceptual frameworks in this field and with the knowledge domains in which work and organizational psychologists participate.

The objectives of this CU are:

  • To characterize different scientific traditions associated to the development of Work and Organizational (W&O) Psychology and its specific projects according to particular conjunctures;
  • Raising awareness on the knowledge core and key skills in some of its main fields of action;
  • To vehicle selection criteria for the use and appropriateness of methodologies and tools for analyzing work situations;
  • To structure attitudes that enhances the context and appropriateness to field specificities in the design, implementation and regulation of studies which support future interventions;
  • To promote the integration of different approaches in a multidisciplinary Project for action.
