UCP4SUCCESS promotes an open conversation with writer Maria Francisca Gama, present at the 4 campi of Católica. At Porto Campus, the activity will take place on March 3, from 2pm to 4pm, at Room EAA003.
This activity is part of the UCP4SUCCESS Culture initiative and aims to promote the integral development of students through the sharing of aesthetic and cultural experiences, also contributing to their academic and social integration.
Maria Francisca Gama is a young writer who in 2024 was included in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in the Arts category. She is the author of the works ‘A Profeta’ (2022), ‘A Cicatriz’ (2024) - voted Book of the Year 2024 in the Lusophone Fiction category of the Bertrand Awards - and ‘Filha da Louca’ (2025).
The meeting will be an opportunity for open conversation with the author, including challenges and short reading and writing exercises, in an informal atmosphere of sharing and dialogue.
Based on her personal and creative journey, topics such as the writing process, creative blocks, memorable readings, personal journeys and what it means to make a living from writing will be explored.
This will be a space for meeting, reflection and creativity, ideal for those who enjoy reading, writing or simply listening and talking about stories and creative processes.
