Diana Soares is an Invited Professor and member of the Directorate for Quality and Pedagogical Innovation at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
With a PhD in Educational Sciences, specialising in Educational Psychology, from the University of Minho in 2015, she is a researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), also developing research activities at the Centre for Research on Higher Education Policies (CIPES). She currently coordinates the Católica Learning Innovation Lab, a laboratory for Pedagogical Innovation. She is a member of the Executive Board of the INOV-NORTE Consortium – Centre of Excellence for Pedagogical Innovation in the Northern Region.
She participates in several research projects in the areas of pedagogical innovation, competence-based education, curriculum management, teacher professional development and Higher Education policies.
She is author and co-author of various national and international publications, participating as a speaker and trainer in congresses, conferences and training actions. She is also a consultant in the area of Education within the scope of the Support Service for Educational Improvement (SAME FEP-UCP).
