Ariana Cosme
Ariana Cosme is a Professor at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences at the University of Porto where she co-coordinates the Observatory of School Life integrated in the CIIE - Centre for Research and Intervention in Education. Doctorate in Educational Sciences from the University of Porto, she did a post-doctorate in the field of Teacher Training at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná, Brazil, where she is a visiting professor. She is a consultant for the PAFC, the Pilot Project for Autonomy and Curriculum Flexibility, at the invitation of the Ministry of Education.

David Rodrigues 
David is a Professor of Special Education. He has a Doctorate in Special Education from Universidade de Lisboa, and he is a retired Full Professor at Universidade de Lisboa. David is a Member of the Nacional Education Council in Portugal, and he was the Founder of the National Association of Special Education Teachers (Pró-Inclusão). David received an award by the Council for Exceptional Children for his work in inclusive education.

David Simó-Pinatella 
David Simó-Pinatella currently works at the Faculty of Psychology, Education Sciences and Sport Blanquerna, Universitat Ramon Llull. His research mainly focuses on: (a) problem behavior, (b) Positive Behavior Support and (c) evidence-based practices.

Diana Mesquita
Diana Mesquita is an Assistant Professor at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), Faculty of Education and Psychology. She holds a PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Minho (2015). Was a visiting professor at Universidade de Brasília (2024) and is currently the Director of the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH-UCP). Her research interests include: Professional Development; Teacher Learning and Training; Pedagogical Innovation; Active Learning; Project-Based Learning; Higher Education; Engineering Education.

Diana Soares 
Diana Soares is an Assistant Professor and vice-dean for 'Quality of Teaching' at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is an active researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH) and also contributes to research endeavors at the Centre for Research on Higher Education Policies (CIPES). Currently, she leads the CLIL - Católica Learning Innovation Lab, a laboratory dedicated to Pedagogical Innovation. Her involvement extends to various research projects focused on pedagogical innovation, competence-based education, curriculum design management, and faculty professional development.

Inês Alves
I​nês Alves is a Lecturer in Inclusive Education at The University of Glasgow, where she coordinated the Master's degree in Inclusive Education. She is a co-convenor for the European Educational Research Association Network 4: Inclusive Education. Prior to coming to Glasgow, she have worked as a Project coordinator of the EDiTE Project (European Doctorate in Teacher Education), and as a consultant collaborating with schools in disadvantaged areas within a Portuguese Ministry of Education area-based intervention (TEIP).  

Inês Monteiro 
Inês Monteiro holds a master’s degree in psychology from Universidade do Porto, with a specialization in Pedagogical Intervention, Education, and Human Development. She also completed a Postgraduate Program in Pedagogical Innovation and Educational Change at Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP). With additional training in clinical psychology, education, and human resources, her professional experience includes vocational guidance, transversal skills development, and pedagogical innovation. She is currently an applied researcher at the Católica Learning Innovation Lab (CLIL) and a second-year PhD student in Education Sciences at UCP, focusing on inclusive education in higher education.

João Costa 
João Costa is Director of the European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education, since January 2025, Chair of the Advisory Group of the OECD Global Forum “Future of Education and Skills 2030”, since 2024, and Chair of the OECD Education Policy Committee, since January 2024. Full Professor of Linguistics at Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, he holds a PhD in Linguistics (1998) from Leiden University and he dedicates his research activity to the domains of theoretical syntax, language acquisition and development, and educational linguistics. João Costa was the Minister of Education in Portugal between 2022 and 2024. 

Marisa Carvalho
Marisa Carvalho is an Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development. She holds a PhD in Psychology from Universidade do Minho and a PhD in Educational Sciences from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She has developed research on inclusive education, innovative practices in education, school improvement and school strategic action and planning, has published papers about these issues and participated in national recommendations for inclusive education (cf. Ministry of Education) and in professional guidelines for inclusive practices and school context intervention for teachers and psychologists (cf. Ministry of Education; Order of Psychologists). She is an expert consultant in the area of education and the management of educational projects.

Merel Satimin-Meijers
Merel Satimin-Meijers is a lecturer for the Master Learning & Innovation at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences where she lectures practical research combined with change management. She also lectures at the minor Second language learning & cultural diversity.  

Rosário Serrão
Rosário Serrão holds an inter-university Doctorate Degree in Applied Psychology: Adaptation and Change in Contemporary Societies, in association with Ramon Llull University, Universidade Católica Portuguesa and Nottingham Trent University Rosário has been collaborating with research projects in Psychology and Education. She is an Integrated Researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), where she actively contributes to different studies, including studies on positive behavior support framework. She is currently an Applied Research Assistant at Project Let's Care - Building safe and caring schools to foster educational inclusion and school achievement, funded by Horizon 2020 from the European Union.

Sui Lin Goei
Sui Lin Goei is a Professor at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences and heads the academic group of Inclusive Learning Environments since 2018. She also holds a position at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) at the Teacher Academy and LEARN! Learning Sciences. She is one of the founders of Lesson Study in the Netherlands and introduced School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) in the Netherlands and in other European countries.
