Interview exploring the environment of constant uncertainty in which young people live today.
Raquel Matos, lecturer and dean of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FEP-UCP), spoke with Antena 1 as part of the programme “Duas de Prosa”.
Drawing on her experience as a lecturer, Raquel Matos shares how she witnesses first-hand the sense of uncertainty felt by young people, addressing the various factors that are currently marked by this uncertainty, which affects the psychological well-being of younger generations. She also highlights the role of Psychology in the prevention and in the promotion of mental health. Raquel Matos concludes the conversation by addressing the families and parents of the young people with a few recommendations.
