Lurdes Veríssimo is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FEP-UCP).
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the FPCE - University of Coimbra, a Master’s degree in Social Psychology and a PhD in Psychology from FPCE - University of Porto.
She is a full member of the CEDH- Research Centre for Human Development, where she participates in various research projects (Let’s Care, MUS-A and UCP 2 Mental Health).
She is the coordinator of CUP – the University Psychology Clinic at FEP-UCP, where she also provides psychological counselling to children, adolescents, young adults and parents.
Her areas of research and teaching relate to educational psychology and the clinical psychology of children and adolescents.
