Workshop: International Humanitarian Emergency  – Mental Health Intervention

This workshop has a notable practical component and intends to prepare students to assess, develop and implement psychosocial intervention programs in communities affected by crisis and catastrophe. Specific phases and stratgies will be adresssed, such as psychoeducational strategies in other cultures, psychological first aid, and the management and monitoring of groups in different scenarios (e.g., natural disasters, terrorist attacks and refugee camps).
