Based on the research problem to be developed in the Master Dissertation, it is intended that in this CU students will deepen and develop the theoretical contextualization / theoretical framework used to support their hypotheses or research questions/objectives (according to the methodology to be adopted). For that, the objectives are defined as:

Reflect critically on the theoretical framework under construction, based on the research problem and objectives;

Search and critically analyse empirical studies that discuss the problem of the project;

Construct a theoretical framework that is related to the research problem and presents different approaches to the phenomenon to be studied;

Understand the role of theory as an integrating foundation in the formulation of the problem, the objectives / hypotheses;

Based on the arguments presented, (a) formulate hypotheses / objectives about the phenomena / concepts / attributes (variables) under study; and (b) identify the research method.
