- Expose students to the main theoretical approaches of the labour market;
- Presenting how the economic theory seeks to answer questions concerning the management of the firm's human resources;
- Exploring how economics has been looking at issues related with the internal labour market´s structure and organization, such as: recruitment and dismissal policies, human capital investment and training, wage structure, incentive systems and motivation.
