Introduction to Neuroscience

6 ECTS / Semester

A. To locate and describe the microscopic and macroscopic structures of the human nervous system, and to relate them with behavior and cognition;

B. To understand the phylogenesis and ontogenesis of the human nervous system;

C. To understand and to be able to describe the main research methods in Neuroscience;

D. To know how the sensory and motor control systems are organized;

E. To understand the general principles of the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system;

F. To relate brain injury and dysfunction (concerning their etiology and location) with cognitive deficits and psychological disorders.
