Self-care and adopting healthy habits at work can be the key to a more peaceful and productive professional and personal life...

Stress at work is common, but when it reaches excessive levels, it can affect both productivity and the physical and mental health of employees.

To reduce the negative effects of stress and improve well-being on a daily basis, it is important to:

  • Organise your routine and set priorities (e.g. set clear boundaries and plan each day in advance);
  • Take regular breaks throughout the day (e.g. take a few minutes to stop and breathe);
  • Practicing relaxation activities (e.g. using techniques such as mindfulness or quick stretches and listening to relaxing music or podcasts);
  • Focusing on solutions rather than problems (e.g. maintaining a positive mindset);
  • Seeking support when needed (e.g. talking to work colleagues or a mental health professional).
