Raquel Matos, director of the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FEP) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) in Porto, visited the University of Maryland in Baltimore County (UMBC), strengthening the relationship that exists between the two universities in the areas of Psychology and Education.
This visit allowed a step forward in the partnership between UMBC and UCP, particularly in Psychology and Education. Several initiatives have been discussed, such as the organization of events of both research centres, mobility of teaching staff and students.
During the visit, which took place last 26th April, FEP's Director had the opportunity to meet with university leaders and with coordinators, faculty members, and researchers of the Departments of Psychology and Education at UMBC.
The visit ended with a meeting of the FEP's director with a student of the Psychology Degree who is currently doing a mobility semester at UMBC.
