Faculty member participates in the consortium meeting of the Erasmus+ project ‘SUCCESS’

Carlos Peixoto, professor at Faculty of Education and Psychology and Research Centre for Human Development researcher, participated in the consortium meeting of the Erasmus+ Project ‘SUCCESS’, which took place in Granada, Spain, on 20 and 21 September.

As part of this project, the Faculty of Education and Psychology is preparing to host, from 27 October to 5 November, a group of 18 professors from two universities in Brazil - University of São Paulo and Federal University of Minas Gerais - and two universities in Peru - Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and Universidad Católica de San Pablo. In this meeting, professors and researchers from UCP will share with the visiting professors their courses and research projects in the area of crime, justice and deviant behaviour.

The SUCCESS Project, led by the University of São Paulo, promotes cooperation and knowledge transfer between European and South American universities to improve training and research in areas related to crime prevention and control and public safety.

The Faculty of Education and Psychology participates in the project through the team of lecturers and researchers in the area of Psychology of Justice and Deviant Behaviour, in collaboration with lecturers from the Porto School of the UCP Faculty of Law.
