As part of UCP4SUCCESS , Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising the webinar "Is university for everyone?": Inclusion and experiences in higher education, a forum for academic, human and social reflection dedicated to the inclusion of students with disabilities in higher education.

This event aims to stimulate debate on the current challenges facing academic institutions in creating truly accessible and inclusive environments, encouraging reflection on institutional practices, accessibility, a sense of belonging and the active participation of all students.

The session will be led by Carla Madureira, a PhD candidate in Educational Sciences, a teacher of primary education and special needs education, and a researcher in the fields of inclusion and disability. Her academic work focuses on promoting a more inclusive society, and she has experience in public office, having served as a Member of the Portuguese Parliament and as Deputy to the Secretary of State for Inclusion and Disability. She also maintains links with the community through her involvement in local projects and organisations, combining educational practice with social and civic engagement.

This webinar is aimed at the entire academic community of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

The event will take place online, and participation is free of charge upon prior registration.
