Bárbara Cesar Machado is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Education and Psychology, Catholic University of Portugal (Porto). She lectures in the Licentiate's Degree in Nutrition Sciences at the School of Biotechnology. She has completed her Masters and PhD in Clinical Psychology at the School of Psychology of the University of Minho. She is a researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH). She has developed research in the field of eating disorders, eating disorders in childhood, epidemiology and etiopathology and multi-impulsive behaviours. She has clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults and her area of interest is Eating and Ingestion Disorders.
