João Guerra has a degree in Medicine from the University of Coimbra (1998) and has been a Hospital Attendant in Child Psychiatry at the Children's Hospital Maria Pia, currently the Child Psychiatry Department of the Porto Hospital Centre, since October 2006. He is a member of the Portuguese Association of Childhood and Adolescence Psychiatry and of the Portuguese Societies of Family Therapy, Psychodrama and Attention Deficit. He has lectured in the areas of Psychiatry and Psychopharmacology in several institutions of Higher Education and has participated in several Projects in the area of Mental Health.
