A. To be acquainted with the historical background and conceptual foundations of Neuropsychology;
B. To understand the role of the neuropsychologist both in clinical and scientific settings;
C. To update and expand knowledge of the Nervous System’s anatomy and physiology;
D. To obtain a detailed understanding of the primary functional systems of neurocognitive processing;
E. To know the principles of neuropsychological assessment (purpose, objectives and methodology), considering different contexts, and goals (clinical, forensic, etc.);
F. To apprehend the diversity of neuropsychological diagnosis, to understand the distinction between them and other psychopathological diagnoses;
G. To know the principles underlying rehabilitation programs (purpose, objectives, prognosis, activities, follow-up), according to impaired function;
H. To understand the deontological and ethical challenges underlying neuropsychological practice.
