The mind-body connection isn’t just a metaphor, it’s a scientific frontier. We’re proud to announce the 6th edition of the APE Meeting – Affect, Personality and the Embodied Brain, taking place 4–5 December 2025, jointly hosted by the APE Research Group (Nottingham Trent University, Nottingham - UK) and HNL Research Group (Human Neurobehavioral Laboratory | Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto - Portugal).

Our APE2025 hybrid conference brings together a vibrant and global network of researchers exploring the intersection of affect, personality and the brain across the lifespan.

Whether you're an established scholar or an emerging researcher, APE is your space to connect, present and grow. We continue to champion early-career voices and “work-in-progress” communications because science is, at its core, a dialogue.

Keynotes include thought leaders from the UK, Germany and Portugal, with sessions designed to inspire critical thinking and foster international collaboration.
