Ph.D. in Applied Psychology

Having the chance to participate in the International Ph.D. in Applied Psychology has provided me with an invaluable, challenging, and enriching experience. So far, in this programme, I have had opportunities for highly qualified training, not only in the formal research aspects but also in soft skills, which are essential to any successful professional. Personally, this program stands out the most for me because of the access to research teams and different university institutions with diverse scientific approaches and know-how. Also, working with an international supervision team and having contact with colleagues from other cultures is a unique opportunity to grow professionally and individually. Considering all the different experiences I have had until now, I can confidently say that this doctoral program has provided me with valuable insights and an irreplaceable professional and personal network.

Ph.D. candidate, 2019-2022 Edition
Ph.D. in Applied Psychology

When looking for Ph.D. programmes, I wanted to enroll in an international programme to become an expert in my field, have an enriching and multicultural experience, connect with researchers from different countries, and improve my English along the way. Enrolling in the "Joint Ph.D. Programme in Applied Psychology: Adaptation and Change in Contemporary Societies" was a great choice that allowed me to pursue my goals and develop professionally far beyond what I expected. Some aspects I value most are the incredible support I receive from my supervisory team, the opportunity to meet researchers and students from other universities globally, and the flexibility and diversity of training offers to prepare me for a career in science and research.

International PhD Programme in Applied Psychology: Adaptation and change in contemporary societies

This International PhD in Applied Psychology gave me the possibility to work with different supervisors, each bringing different knowledge, contributing to expanding my research skills and learning to develop research in an international environment. The possibility to collect data in different countries was also a plus for me, learning about education and well-being in different cultures. I also valued the training opportunities provided and the possibility to have research stays in Barcelona and Nottingham. It was a very complete and fulfilling experience!
