Patrícia Batista has a PhD in Biomedicine from the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Beira Interior, a Master in Experimental Pathology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and a Master in Personal and Social Development from the University of Beira Interior.
Currently, she is an Associated Researcher at the Human Neurobehavioral Laboratory (HNL), collaborator researcher at the Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry Centre (CBQF) and invited lecturer at the Education and Psychology Faculty of the Catholic University. She is responsible for intersection projects between the areas of Psychology, Neurosciences and Biotechnology. She has participated in projects funded by FCT and ANI, has collaborated in the development of three patents, is the author of several scientific publications and a reviewer for ten journals with scientific arbitration. She has participated in the co-supervision of master's students and degree projects, in panels of scientific evaluation (doctoral and master's theses and project work), as well as, collaborated in teaching in other higher education institutions (University of Aveiro and University of Beira Interior).
