  • Acquire knowledge on the major issues, evaluation, and intervention in Health Psychology, taking a critical attitude.
  • To know the psychologist’s role in health contexts.
  • Apply models that explain the process of psychosocial adaptation (stress and coping) in health contexts.
  • Identify the main research lines in Health Psychology.
  • Apply acquired knowledge, developing psychological intervention plans aimed at different target groups and different levels of intervention.

At the end of the course unit is expected students will have developed analytical skills and critical reflection on the specific knowledge of this CU, as well as planning skills, problem solving, communication, decision making, interpersonal relationships and evaluation of self and peer performance.
