- To define and critically understand the concepts of deviance and social control as socially, culturally and historically constructed phenomena.
- To manage different comprehensive perspectives about deviance from a multidisciplinary perspective (psychological, biological, eco-social) and from an epistemologically diverse perspective (positivist vs. constructivist).
- To recognize classical (crime, drug use) as well as contemporary (behavioural addictions, cybercrime, gender and sexual violence, migrations, etc.) deviance phenomena.
