The 2026 edition of the Psychology Days is organised by the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FEP‑UCP), under the theme “Past, Present and Future of Psychology”.

The Psychology Days provide a moment for reflection and knowledge sharing within the field of Psychology, and will take place at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto

Students and alumni of FEP‑UCP, researchers, lecturers and professionals in the field of Psychology.

Message from the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (FEP‑UCP):

On 11 and 12 March, the Students’ Association of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa takes on, with responsibility, dedication and enthusiasm, the organisation of the 21st edition of the Psychology Days.

The theme “Past, Present and Future” invites reflection on the evolution and transformation of Psychology over time. Looking to the past means recognising its origins, its foundational theories and the contribution of all those who laid the scientific groundwork for the field. Focusing on the present requires understanding the current challenges, social changes and demands that shape training and professional practice. Thinking about the future involves embracing the responsibility to innovate, conduct research and continue developing a Psychology that can respond ethically and conscientiously to society’s needs.

For the Students’ Association, this edition also represents a stage of transition and growth. Organising the Psychology Days is more than planning an event: it is honouring the legacy of previous editions, preserving their essence while also adding a new vision, fresh ideas and renewed energy. It is about facing challenges with resilience, transforming uncertainty into learning, and reinforcing our commitment to the academic community.

The Psychology Days are designed for the community of the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, promoting a space for encounters across generations, experiences and perspectives. These days aim to offer a moment of sharing, reflection and inspiration, a celebration of the journey so far and a confident step towards the path ahead.
