More than 65 national and international organisations attended RUMO 2024, the annual employability event of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. The event also featured thematic sessions with experts in emerging and relevant fields, such as Artificial Intelligence and Sustainability.
According to Isabel Braga da Cruz, pro-rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, “this annual event reinforces the University's commitment to the employability of its students, offering them practical preparation and a valuable network of contacts for their professional integration. This year, with the participation of renowned experts and companies, RUMO 2024 promises to open doors and expand horizons for the professional future of our students.”
Through thematic sessions and stand discussions, the university's students and alumni had the opportunity to explore various career prospects in fields such as Management, Economics, Biotechnology, Arts, Law, Education, Psychology, and Nursing. The 2024 edition hosted more than 65 companies at stands on the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. Companies from diverse sectors interacted directly with students, sharing insights into their needs and exploring potential collaborations and career opportunities.
