I chose Católica to continue my academic career. I was drawn by the program offering me a Master's degree with on par to the level of Psychology pursued on a national level, as well as the vast resources that the department provides us. But mainly, I chose the Department of Education and Psychology for its ability to mesh the essential aspects of my professional development (ensuring a training of excellence and rigor and the network of national and international contacts that the university presents to us), with my personal and social development (with the dynamics implemented in terms of work with the community, volunteering, and with the institutions/entities that welcome us to carry out our internships). It should be noted that, every day, the department prioritizes balancing the development of technical skills (the hard skills) and personal skills (soft skills), which allows us to grow both within our area of work as well as in our lives and in society.
It is a prestigious and internationally recognized department, which has exceptional spaces and references in the field of Psychology; but moreover, what I feel most differentiates the faculty (and, consequently, my master's degree) from other similar programs is the proximity, support, individualized knowledge and concern for each of its students. Therefore, my choice of master's degree could not have been easier!
