At the end of last year, the Portuguese urban police called Senior Census Operation identified around 44,000 elderly people in Portugal alone, isolated or in a vulnerable situation. With a country moving towards an increasingly aging population, it is urgent to think about how to keep our elderly active and integrated into society.
