“Health and well-being of university students: lessons from the pandemic”. - This is the title of another session as part of the “Feeding a Cause” series of talks, an initiative organised by the Serralves Foundation, in scientific partnership with the Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto. The event will feature speakers Elisa Veiga, faculty member of Faculty of Education and Psychology, and Marta Correia, faculty member of Faculty of Biotechnology, and will take place on 20 October at 11am.

Sinopse

The increase in stress levels among university students, who were already identified as a vulnerable population in terms of their mental health and (healthy?) routines, sleep habits, mood and eating habits, is a given. The pandemic and the uncertainty of the current context have reinforced these risks! In this talk, we will discuss the ACT-19 project, which was developed in the aftermath of the pandemic precisely to assess the situation, disseminate health literacy tools and promote well-being.
