Cindy Vaz is a lecturer at ES-Social Education (IESF). She is a member of the management bodies of the Equestrian Training and Hippotherapy Academy of Valongo and Campo (AFEHVC), where she is a pedagogical coordinator in the area of Therapeutic Equitation. She is also a lecturer in the Master's Degree in Educational Sciences - Social Pedagogy (FEP-UCP); Master's Degree in Social Pedagogy by FEP-UCP, finishing her doctorate in Educational Sciences at the same university. She is a researcher member of the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH/FCT). Her main teaching, research and publication areas are: Social Pedagogy and Socio-educational Innovation, Hospitality and Socio-educational Knowledge, Hippotherapy.
