Rosário Serrão Cunha has a Master's Degree in Psychology, specialising in Educational and Human Development Psychology, from the Catholic University of Portugal, Faculty of Education and Psychology in Porto. Since 2011, she has collaborated in research projects in the areas of Psychology and Education. She defended her Master's Thesis on the topic of adolescents' perceptions of learning in 2015. During her ERASMUS+ internship, she collaborated in European research projects at the Centre for Resilience and Social & Emotional Health at the University of Malta. She was a research fellow in the EDUgest - School Management and School Improvement project, funded by the Belmiro de Azevedo Foundation, for 31 months. She has also worked as a School Psychologist in different contexts and has teaching experience at Undergraduate and Master levels in Psychology. She is a junior researcher at the Research Centre for Human Development (CEDH), in which she actively contributes to different projects and studies. Currently, she is a PhD candidate on the International PhD Programme in Applied Psychology: Adaptation and change in contemporary societies - Joint PhD Programme: Universitat Ramon Llull (URL); Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP); Nottingham Trent University (NTU). Her PhD research topic is the promotion of psychological health in schools, focusing on universal screening processes ranging from students to school managers.
